It all began with the Theatre bug. Carter was very involved in his local theatre from the age of 11 till he graduated from Charles J. Colgan Sr. High School of the Arts. There, he expanded his skillset from strictly acting, to Directing, Stage Managing and everything in between. He had his directorial debut when he directed Clue: On Stage his senior year. Clue shattered all school records for attendance and needed to be extended, for the first time in Colgan history. This training from his community brought him to New York University’s TISCH School of the Arts, where he studied at the renowned Playwrights Horizons Theatre School.
